What a whirlwind the past few days have been. On Thursday afternoon, we declared victory in the Democratic primary for New York's First District and in the days that have followed, we have experienced an unprecedented outpouring of support and wildly surpassed our first fundraising goals of the general election. .

Thank you, John. We couldn't have done this without you.

While we put our full effort and investment into winning the primary, Zeldin has raised over $3,500,000, more than $900,000 of that coming from PACs, and has over $2,000,000 in the bank. Zeldin has a cash-on-hand advantage that he will use to push propaganda and lies about me and our campaign. Not to mention the Trump/Pence and NRC money that will be used to fund attacks against us.

Our job is to raise enough to combat the GOP lies with our own message on the airwaves -- and as Shane puts it, this means we must come out the gates blazing on our fundraising, without taking a dime of corporate PAC money like my opponent.

Before I sat down to write you this message, I connected with Jacob and Shane about what our priorities are. We'd like to get a poll in the field as quickly as possible, as well as hire a communications strategist, an additional fundraiser, and more field organizers to ensure we have a winning team.

We've built a strategy to defeat Zeldin in November, and I want you to know that you are a key part of our plan to win.
