*WISDP Certification Remains Strong, Apply Directly for State Opportunities*
Recent updates at the federal level have paused the U.S. Department of Transportation’s DBE conversion process. We want to reassure our community that this does not affect the Wisconsin Supplier Diversity Program or our state certification process in any way.
Our entire program operates under Wisconsin State Statutes and Administrative Codes, which govern all MBE, WBE, and DVB certifications. These include:
16.285, Wis. Stats. and Adm. Code Ch. 83 for WBE §16.287, Wis. Stats. and Adm. Code Ch. 84 for MBE §16.283, Wis. Stats. and Adm. Code Ch. 82 for DVB
Because our program is built on state law, it is completely separate from the federal DBE recertification process. Wisconsin’s procurement process is also independent from federal activity. This means our certifications remain valid, recognized, and fully active for state contracting and procurement opportunities.

Now is a great time to connect directly with the WISDP team. Certified businesses gain access to opportunities across state agencies, universities, and private sector partners.
Our specialists are here to guide you through the application process and help you understand how certification can support your business growth.
