I hope you’ll take a moment to read this, Friend - because we’re facing a crossroads, and I refuse to stand silently while the future we’ve promised our country slips away.
From the minute I decided to run for Congress here in North Carolina, I promised myself and my district one thing: I will always put people first. Not politics. Not appearances. Not vague promises that sound nice but deliver nothing. Real results for real people.
Here’s the hard truth: we’re seeing important issues being ignored. Priorities are being misplaced. Democrat leaders who claim to be the ‘party of compassion’ held our country hostage to appease the far-left fringe.
Their leadership isn’t even hiding it anymore; just listen to the second most powerful Democrat in Congress, Katherine Clark, who said this:
“Shutdowns are terrible, and of course, there will be families that are going to suffer, but it is one of the few leverage times we have.”
YES, she actually said that!
They said the quiet part out loud; they saw our service members, air traffic controllers, and working-class Americans as pawns in a political chess game. That’s not just wrong, it’s disgusting.
I’ve seen what bad leadership costs on the battlefield, and I know what weak, self-serving leadership costs our country today.
It’s time to stop using Americans as leverage, hit the ground running, and start putting the country first, NOT party politics.
