Dear team,

This week - after over 130 days of waiting - the General Assembly finally passed a state budget. The compromise we came to was the result of a divided government, which means we had to make hard choices on issues we care deeply about. But it doesn’t have to be this way. In 2026, Democrats have the chance to make significant gains in the state Senate. We can’t miss this opportunity for Pennsylvania.

Right now, the Senate is split, with 27 Republicans and 23 Democrats. We only need to secure three more seats to get to a Democratic Majority. And if we get the Senate and keep our Majority in the House, we will have a trifecta. That kind of power will allow us to raise the minimum wage, truly invest in public transit, and so much more. 

In order to make that goal a reality, we must keep a crucial Senate seat in Lancaster County.

In April's special election, James Malone made history. His strong ground game and tireless campaign won in a district that Trump had carried by 15 points in 2024. And now, it's our turn to help James continue his work in the Senate.

Keeping this seat is essential to creating the future for Pennsylvania we all want to see: one where our loved ones, friends, and families have access to opportunities, can afford their groceries, and are empowered to succeed by their government.
