The Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector officially opened its tenth Tax Collector Office during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Miami Gardens, marking an important step in expanding public access to essential county services across northern Miami-Dade. “Today we open a new office that brings government closer to the people,” said Miami-Dade County Tax Collector Dariel Fernandez.

As Clerk of the Court and Comptroller (COCC) of Miami-Dade  County, I am proud to announce the launch of our new COCC Mobile App — an important milestone in our mission to modernize and enhance public service through technology.  This new app allows residents, attorneys, and businesses to  conveniently access many of our most-used services directly from their mobile devices. Users can search court records, make payments, receive case updates, and locate office information quickly and securely. Our goal is simple: to make government services easier to reach and more efficient for everyone in our community. 

The highly anticipated celebration will illuminate downtown with a 24-foot Christmas tree and holiday display sparkling with thousands of lights and a colorful, Miami-inspired design. Following a welcome by District 4 Commissioner and Miami DDA Chairman Ralph “Rafael” Rosado, District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo, and Miami DDA CEO and Executive Director Christina Crespi, guests will enjoy a free live performance by the Miami Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Eduardo Marturet, alongside students from the New World School of the Arts. Comfortable seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for attendees.
