Hi John,

We’re currently accepting submissions for our pro-life student contests, and I can't wait to see how students engage with our "Support Her. Protect Them." theme!

Today, I just wanted to reflect for a moment on the oratory (speech) category of our competition.

It’s one of the moments in our annual conference, Together We Advocate, that I look forward to every year: Hearing our oratory contest winner deliver his or her pro-life address in front of the whole audience.

2025 Student Contest Oratory Winner Evie W. delivers her speech at Together We Advocate.

It’s not always easy for a teenager to speak in front of hundreds of people. I’m always inspired by their courage, conviction, and passion for protecting the most vulnerable.

And for some young people, this can be the moment that propels them into a lifetime of pro-life advocacy!

Do you see yourself – or a young pro-life advocate in your life – on that stage in 2026?

Through our contest program, students can take creative ownership of their pro-life beliefs through artwork, writing, speaking, short-form video, and film.

Please share this information with anyone you know who may be interested in participating in student contests in 2026. Deadlines are in January or February depending on the kind of entry (learn more here [[link removed]]).

Because everyone deserves an advocate,

Makyra Williamson

P.S. Today’s high school and college students are tomorrow’s leaders. In addition to student contests, we also provide a three-day intensive pro-life leadership retreat, Launch, to engage and equip young people to change the culture. To learn more about Launch, click here [[link removed]].
