It’s John! I just wrapped up family dinner and I wanted to touch base with you before winding down for the night. 

My wife Robin and I reminisced on our years together – including standing on stage together the night we flipped Colorado’s Senate seat blue in 2020.

I remembered something important while we talked. First, I was so fortunate to have my family by my side when I ran for Senate that year. National Republicans spent nearly $50 million to defeat us and spread lies about my record, so it means everything to me to have their support each step of the way.

I also remembered how many grassroots supporters mobilized to stand with us that year. Folks who I have met throughout my life who believed in a better future that we could build together. Teachers, scientists, small business owners – Coloradans who all wanted to be part of something bigger than themselves.

So now, as we enter our first reelection campaign for this Senate seat, I want to be honest with you: this will be a tough race. Especially after Democrats swept the 2025 elections, Republicans will be looking for any and all opportunities to expand their majorities – and you better believe they have their sights set on Colorado too.

That’s why I need to ask: Will you help us hit the ground running in our reelection campaign so Democrats can take back the Senate majority? There’s no path to Democratic Senate control without Colorado, and we’ll need a historic grassroots team to pull it off.
