We’re into high gear this summer, friend.
Nine months ago, we were in the middle of the 2019 election campaign and it had me thinking about what I love about volunteering. For me, it’s so inspiring to hear the priorities you share with us on the phone or on your doorstep, then being able to take it all back to HQ and put it to work so our Liberal MPs can keep building a better future for all Canadians.
These conversations help guide the progress that Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team are making for Canadians – like increasing the Canada Child Benefit again this month to help families keep up with the high costs of raising kids, taking real action to fight climate change and protect a clean environment, and moving forward two months ago with an immediate ban on assault-style weapons in Canada.
And friend, there’s still a lot more work ahead of us than behind us! Thousands of volunteers are taking our hope and hard work into high gear with our Virtual Summer Action, starting tens of thousands of new conversations with Canadians about what matters most to you for shaping a better future. And as always, keeping Canada moving forward is only possible thanks to the help of dedicated supporters like you.
