BREAKING: Young Kim Raises Over $1.23 Million in FEC’s 2nd Quarter
Young Kim’s Prolific Fundraising Solidifies CA-39 as top Pick-up Opportunity for House Republicans

Fullerton, CA - Today, former State Assemblywoman Young Kim announced she raised over $1.23 million in the Federal Election Commission’s 2nd quarter, making her one of the top fundraisers amongst challengers in the country. Young Kim for Congress has surpassed $3 million raised during the 2020 election cycle and closes the fundraising period with over $1.5 million cash on hand.

Young Kim has repeatedly earned recognition for her impressive digital fundraising ([link removed]) program which brought in nearly $550,000 in the second quarter from almost 17,000 individual donors and over 26,000 donations. Young’s strong digital fundraising program has raised over $1.16 million since she launched her campaign.

“Young is reinventing the way we campaign and consistently shows she is one of the most formidable challengers running in 2020. She has the experience, message, and leadership that voters are desperate for in Washington, and her fundraising success is a reflection of the strong support she has in the 39th District and across the country,” stated Sam Oh, general consultant to Young Kim for Congress. “Gil Cisneros knows he is in trouble in November ([link removed]) and is trying to clean up his inconsistent and poor record. While Cisneros looks out for his party and its leaders, Young will continue to put the needs of this district before all else.”

California’s 39th District is consistently rated as a toss-up for the November election. In the March 2020 primary, Young Kim bested Cisneros 48.4% to 46.8% ([link removed]) .
