The murder of Jamarion Robinson is one of the worst examples of police brutality in Atlanta. 17 cops broke down his door with no warrant because they thought he was someone else. The three cops responsible for the murder itself fired a total of 90 rounds, leaving Jamarion with 76 bullet wounds. (Each murderer only had 15 rounds in their gun.) Local, state and federal authorities have protected the murderers rather than serving justice for the families and ending this threat to our community.
Atlanta artists and organizers are coming together to honor Jamarion and create visual testimonies around the city to expose the injustices that took his life. You can support ATL Radical Art in this initiative by donating funds that will go towards mural supplies and to compensate all artists for their time, commitment and labor.
