I’m Don Davis, the Democrat running for reelection in eastern North Carolina next year. I wanted to tell you a little about myself and why hitting our upcoming mid-month fundraising goal is more important than ever.

I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, and I’ve spent my life serving others as a veteran, minister, and public servant.

From the Air Force to the mayorship of Snow Hill to the State Senate, I’ve always been a champion for eastern North Carolina. In Congress, I’ll continue to fight for rural communities, deliver results for our families, lower costs, and protect healthcare.

But friend, this election is going to be my hardest fight yet. Republicans just passed a rigged redistricting scheme in an unfair attempt to push me out of my seat.

Let me set the record straight: This is unprecedented and benefits nobody except Republicans. Their new maps decrease the Democratic voting population by 4 points , and the Black voting population by 8 points .

That’s why I’m asking for your help. Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can spare to deliver a win for eastern North Carolina and fight back against these attacks?
