• 42 million SNAP recipients got only 65% of benefits; 100+ Head Start programs defunded.
• Federal Reserve data stalled; longer Medicare/Social Security waits; $15 billion in contracts frozen, hurting small businesses and contractors.
• Flight chaos: 13,000 controllers unpaid, leading to "sickouts," 10% capacity cuts, thousands of cancellations/delays.

And Wisconsin Democrats would have let the shutdown continue, voting against it until the bitter end. They see Americans as pawns, while Republicans see people.
