As communities across the country continue to fight against attacks on multiple fronts, it is crucial that we come together to boldly confront injustice. On December 4, Gamaliel leaders will be coming together to discuss how we can work together more effectively to advance human rights in the coming months. Immigrants, formerly incarcerated people, and religious leaders will be sharing powerful testimonies and powerful solutions.

We will be hearing about how communities across the country are being impacted by the pervasive violation of due process rights and how Gamaliel affiliates are fighting back and winning in some instances. The importance of justice reinvestment, voter engagement initiatives, base building, political education, and shifting harmful narratives will be emphasized.

Breakout sessions and large group discussions will give leaders and organizers opportunities to develop strategic plans for base building and to produce ideas for powerful collaborative actions at the state and local levels. In addition, we will start discussing what it would look like if we come together to do a national solidarity action.
