*Just a Reminder: CAGW will release the
2017 Pig Book on Wednesday, July 19! *

Dear John,

The little pink book that makes Washington's politicians squirm is back! Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) will release the "2017 Congressional Pig Book" at a Washington news conference on Wednesday, July 19, at 9:00 a.m. EDT alongside Sens. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.); Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker (R-N.C.); Reps. Jim Banks (R-Ind.), Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), and Bill Flores (R-Texas); and CAGW's mascot, "PigFoot" (I-Origin Unknown).

This year marks the 25th edition of CAGW's annual exposé of pork-barrel spending. Given that some members of the House of Representatives are working to lift that chamber's earmark moratorium that has been in place since 2011, this year's release is especially timely. Speakers at the news conference will discuss what needs to be done to stop Congress from pursuing its swinish ways … permanently.

To get your own copy of the "2017 Congressional Pig Book Summary" − "the little pink book that Washington doesn't want you to read" − *make a tax-deductible contribution of $25 or more to CAGW today [ [link removed] ]*!
