John,
This morning, during Starbucks' annual Red Cup promotion — more than 1,000 baristas in 40+ cities walked off the job to demand better pay, more staffing, and a fair contract.
This isn’t any ordinary strike, John — this is a Red Cup Rebellion. And Starbucks workers are prepared to strike indefinitely until their demands are met.
When baristas go on strike, we show solidarity by doing the same. That’s why we are calling on all WFP supporters to sign the pledge to not shop at Starbucks while baristas are on strike. Add your name to the pledge if you stand with workers — not the billionaire brewing union-busters.

The fair pay, respect at work, and hours that baristas are demanding could all be paid for with less than one day of Starbucks’ profits. But Starbucks’ CEO Brian Niccol — who earned $96 million last year — would rather union bust than pay his employees a livable wage. That’s just downright greedy!
This fight isn’t just about coffee. It’s about dignity, wages, and ending union busting. When baristas strike, our movement stands with them.
Join us by joining the call to action: #NoContractNoCoffee and pledge to not shop at Starbucks while baristas are on strike.

In solidarity with the workers,
Team WFP
P.S. After you sign the pledge, join striking baristas on the picket line! The more people there are, the louder the message we send. Click here for a map of events to find a picket line near you.
