BREAKING: EWG is releasing a report today that shows there might be an extra ingredient in your hummus: the toxic pesticide glyphosate.

Independent laboratory tests commissioned by EWG found glyphosate, the notorious
weedkiller linked to cancer, in more than 80 percent of non-organic hummus and chickpeas samples.

In fact, one-third of conventional hummus samples exceeded the level EWG considers to be health-protective. Overall, EWG found much lower levels of glyphosate in organic products.
