Dear Supporter,
The WE Charity backed out of its $900-million contract with the Trudeau government, but before that blew up, WE got millions from Ottawa and we need your help to get the auditor general to investigate.
That $900-million contract created a media storm because Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s mother, brother and wife had received speaking fees from WE of nearly $300,000!
The ethics commissioner is investigating a potential conflict of interest.
But we also need to follow the money – all of it.
Since the Trudeau government came to office, WE has received at least five other government contracts totalling more than $5 million.
The auditor general is empowered to investigate these issues and considers requests for audits from Canadian citizens.
Will you take two minutes to send a note to the federal auditor general, Karen Hogan, and ask her to conduct an audit of all contracts between the federal government and WE Charity?
You can email her at [email protected]
Taxpayers deserve to know whether their money has been misused.
Together, we can let the auditor general know how important it is to get the bottom of this!
Thank you as always for your support!
- Aaron, Todd, Shannon and the entire CTF team
PS: Unlike the WE Charity, governments don't give the Canadian Taxpayers Federation any contracts or grants. To be honest, we wouldn’t take money from taxpayers anyway. We rely 100 per cent on donations from people like you. If you’re able, please chip in today: www.taxpayer.com/donate
