Dear Colleague,
The U.S. delegation to the United Nations voted against a dozen controversial General Assembly resolutions this week, and they are threatening to vote against dozens more. Resolutions in the General Assembly are generally debated and then passed by consensus without a vote. The Trump administration says this is the wrong way to go about it. The United Nations needs to get back to its fundamental role in keeping the peace. The European left are mighty cranky about this. Stefano Gennarini, J.D., who is very close to the negotiations, reports [[link removed]].
Besides voting against UN GA resolutions, the US did not attend its biennial grilling at the Universal Period Review. The U.S. simply did not show up for its meeting last Friday. It signals yet again that the U.S. under Donald Trump is not going to play silly UN games. We have never seen anything like this. Rebecca Oas, Ph.D. reports [[link removed]].
Friend, Stefano has been at this work for 13 years, and so has Rebecca. No one in the pro-life world knows the UN and these issues like these two.
Please support their work at [[link removed]].
Spread the word. Be daring. Keep the faith.
Yours sincerely,
Austin Ruse
President

By Rebecca Oas, Ph.D.
WASHINGTON, D.C. November 14 (C-Fam) The United States was a no-show for its scheduled appearance in the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) where countries receive recommendations on their human rights records from other member states, leading to speculation that the U.S. government will entirely disengage from the UN human rights system.
