John,
Nearly 250 years after the American Revolution, taxation without representation has returned -- with billionaires and corporations dominating our political system.
As part of the Fall of Freedom series , Free Speech For People invites you to a special virtual event on the movement to abolish super PACs, exploring the legal framework for ending super PACs and renewing democracy for the 21st century.

For 15 years, super PACs have given billionaires, corporations, and other wealthy interests a backdoor to pour unlimited money into our elections. These unlimited contributions to super PACs, often totaling hundreds of millions of dollars during federal elections, present a direct threat of corruption and the appearance of corruption in the political process. Further, super PACs have the power to shape elections, and candidates’ ability to direct massive contributions to super PACs can make or break campaigns.
Our democracy is meant to work by and for we, the people. The town hall will discuss federal and state legislation, as well as ongoing litigation, that will advance our fight for a republic where every voice and every vote counts.
