Spoiler alert, friend: At the end of this email I'm going to ask you to make a donation to our mid-month goal. But first I want to explain our 2020 investment strategy.

>>> [link removed]

I'm proud to say that thanks to supporters like you, we've been able to endorse 169 fair-map candidates and invest in races in nine states, bringing our 2020 investments up to $2 million. We're fighting for fair maps everywhere from tiny New Hampshire in the northeast to massive Texas in the south, and we just announced a NEW target state: Kansas.

Here's how we're breaking it down:

Investment category 1: States where Republicans control every aspect of the redistricting process, like Texas and North Carolina. We have to be able to break up the GOP's supermajorities in order to get Democrats a seat at the table for 2021 redistricting.

Investment category 2: States with Democratic governors where we can prevent or break Republican supermajorities, like Wisconsin and Kansas. If we can't stop supermajorities then the GOP will be able to overturn the governor's veto of unfair maps.

Investment category 3: States where we can build up Democratic power to ensure a fair redistricting.

We need to win in all of these categories to prevent Republican map manipulation across the country. So here's the part where I ask you to donate -- because even though we've already invested $2 million, Republicans could raise $125 million, so we have to do even more if we want to compete in all of the races we need to win.

Friend, can you pitch in toward our $30,000 mid-month goal to help us beat Republican gerrymandering all over the map?
