Earlier this year, we released Mathways: Every Kid is a Math Kid, a practical framework for addressing America's math crisis while creating more ways for students to engage in math and data science coursework. 

Building on those efforts, we're excited to announce the inaugural cohort of the 50CAN Fellows for Math and Data Science, who will spend the next year working to generate solutions and change math policy at kitchen tables, in classrooms and in statehouses across the country.

Our Math and Data Science Fellows are educators, advocates and communicators that believe we have a real opportunity to reimagine and strengthen how students learn math and become more data literate, preparing them for a dynamic technological era. Over the course of the next year, they'll work to advance their thought-leadership and public profiles, while contributing their views on how we can improve math and data science education through smart policymaking.

We look forward to sharing their work with you over the coming months, because every kid is a math kid.
