(Berlin, Germany / New York, N.Y.) – The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) invites you to the webinar “Rethinking the fight against Antisemitism after October 7”, which will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
This is the third webinar of a three-part series on how antisemitism is strategically exploited by extremist groups, a project supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The aftermath of the antisemitic massacres conducted on October 7, 2023, in Israel by Hamas has raised many urgent questions. For example, do we need to rethink and reconceptualize the fight against antisemitism? Should antisemitism be its own category in the prevention and countering of violent extremism (P/CVE), not just a side aspect? Do we properly understand and address the role of social media platforms in this context? How can the fight against professional antisemitic actors be improved?
Building on the findings presented in the 2025 CEP study, “The Role of Antisemitism in the Mobilization to Violence by Extremist and Terrorist Actors”, the webinar will emphasize the transnational dimensions of these questions.
The webinar will be conducted in English via Zoom.
