John,
Like our Executive Director Alexandra Rojas told Al Jazeera, Zohran Mamdani’s victory in NYC last week “put every single entrenched, corporate Democrat on notice. If you’re not serving the interests of everyday people, your time in office is limited.”
Here at Justice Democrats, we’re already putting those words into action. In districts across the country, we’ve endorsed four working-class, progressive candidates to take on do-nothing Democratic incumbents in next year’s primaries — and more are on the way.
Now, we’re setting our sights on congressional races in New York City so we can take the same energy Zohran built in his race for mayor and use it to reshape the Democratic Party in Washington.
That’s why we just launched our “Primary NYC’s Corporate Democrats Fund.”
With your support, we’re preparing to help elect working-class, progressive candidates challenging the corporate and billionaire-backed Democrats currently representing (and failing) NYC districts in Congress.
This is how we ensure Zohran’s victory wasn’t just a moment, but a movement.
Let’s send more corporate stooges like Andrew Cuomo into a long-overdue retirement.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
