Dear A.,

Over the last few months, Iran has been smuggling advanced weapons to its growing terrorist proxy network in the West Bank, as the world's leading state-sponsor of terror looks to turn the area "into a Gaza-style militant hub that can replicate Hamas's Oct. 7 terror attacks,"

according to Israeli intelligence.

Since the ceasefire deal in Gaza went into effect, the Iran-backed Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group moved its headquarters to the West Bank, where Iran can more easily supply the group with arms. There are more than two dozen Palestinian terror groups active in the West Bank.

Just last week, the IDF intercepted a drone carrying 10 guns and other weapons being smuggled into the West Bank from Jordan.

The IDF also stopped a shipment in October from Iran's Quds Force to proxy groups in the West Bank that contained 15 anti-tank rockets, 29 explosive four armed drones and an assortment of other weapons.

As part of stopping Iran's proxies, a top U.S. Treasury official

said Monday during a visit to Lebanon that the country must do more to crack down on the flow of money to Hezbollah.

The official added that Hezbollah is likely trying to bring $1 billion into the country by the end of the year. Much of the money comes in as cash and gold carried in suitcases from countries like Turkey.

Hezbollah is using this funding to rebuild and rearm, including by smuggling weapons into Lebanon from Syria.

"We are working to prevent that from happening and to block the ground routes from Syria into Lebanon to a high level of success, but they still pose a threat to us," IDF International Spokesperson Nadav Shoshani

said . “We are committed to the [November 2024 ceasefire] agreement, but it must be held. We will not return to the reality of October 7 [2023] with a threat of thousands of terrorists on our border within walking distance of our civilians.”

The United States and our allies must continue to increase the pressure on Iran and its proxies, and ensure Israel has the resources and support needed to counter this terror threat.

Israel surging aid into Gaza; Hamas still holds four hostages

Israel

announced that it has reopened the Zikim Crossing in northern Gaza to facilitate an even greater flow of humanitarian aid into the Strip. There are already more than

670 humanitarian aid trucks already entering Gaza on average each day.

Israel is

implementing "a catered humanitarian response" in cooperation with the U.S.-run Civil-Military Coordination Center and international partners, bringing in more shelter equipment and

blankets .

While Israel continues to abide by the ceasefire deal and works to further improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Hamas is failing to carry out its obligations.

Hamas still holds the bodies of four murdered hostages. It has now been over

72 hours since Hamas last released a murdered hostage body.

The murdered bodies of Meni Godard (top left) Ran Gvili (top right), Dror Or (bottom left) and Sudthisak Rinthalak (bottom right) are still being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.

Additionally, Hamas terrorists continue to violate the ceasefire agreement by crossing the yellow line into Israeli-controlled territory, posing a threat to IDF soldiers.

Earlier today, Israeli troops were working to destroy Hamas' terror tunnels in Rafah when four terrorists approached them in

violation of the ceasefire . A similar incident occurred in Khan Younis.

The IDF eliminated the terrorists in both cases.

The United States must increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to fully comply with the agreement and release all the hostages.

won a multi-million-dollar Department of War contract to produce artificial intelligence-enhanced attack drones for the U.S. military.

The drones will provide American troops with a battle-tested system optimized for irregular warfare in dense urban environments. Training, maintenance, and production will originate from XTEND’s Tampa headquarters, ensuring a domestic supply chain and boosting the U.S. economy.

Israeli technology helps keep our troops safe and effective on the battlefield. Deepening U.S.-Israel cooperation on drones and artificial intelligence makes both nations safer, stronger and more prosperous.

In world-first, Israel is replenishing the Sea of Galilee

Israel has
[link removed]
started pumping desalinated seawater into the Sea of Galilee, marking the first-ever attempt to replenish a freshwater lake with processed seawater.

Israel is a world-leader in desalination technology, which was critical to alleviating the country’s water shortage. The Jewish state also provides a significant amount of water to its neighbor, Jordan.

The Sea of Galilee was depleted by years of drought, and this new effort will raise its water level by about 0.2 inches per month.
