Hi John,

It's Dan McKee. I was born and raised in Cumberland, and I am the former mayor, former lieutenant governor, and now, your governor.

When I became Rhode Island’s governor, I got to work right away: boosting school funding, eliminating the state car tax so families kept more of what they earned, and fighting back against the Trump administration to resume the work of Revolution Wind so Rhode Islanders will have access to cleaner energy.

From my time on the Cumberland Council to now, I've followed the same ethos: listen first, then deliver.

As I run for re-election, I want to make sure I’m focused on the issues Rhode Islanders care about most: stronger schools, affordable housing, lower costs, safer communities, and protecting our rights from the reckless dysfunction coming out of Washington.

That’s why I’m asking you to take a quick priorities survey today. Your answers will help guide my re-election campaign and our work.

Will you take a minute to tell me your priorities, John?

TAKE THE SURVEY

Thank you for everything you do to make Rhode Island stronger. I’ve always believed the best ideas don’t just come from the State House. They come from the people who live in our communities, send their kids to our public schools, and drive on our roads every day.

Gratefully,

Dan McKee
Governor of Rhode Island
