today, I showed up in court for my arraignment and pleaded not guilty to
the trumped-up, politically-motivated charges against me.
In case you missed it: two weeks ago, five others and I were charged by
Donald Trump and the federal government with two charges for exercising
our First Amendment rights near ICE’s Broadview processing center. [ [link removed] ]I'm

as I stand up for our First Amendment rights? >>
ICE and Donald Trump know that their actions against me were violent,
unprovoked, and not constitutionally defensible. They know they are wrong,
they know that they are inhumane, and they know that history will not be
on their side.
The indictment was scary, but showing up in court to face these baseless
charges makes these attacks feel even more real.
But I will keep standing up because ICE continues to harass our
communities and detain our neighbors. We know this is wrong, and we need
to use our constitutionally protected rights to stop it.

out in favor of free speech. I won't stop fighting, but I need your help
