Take action to fight for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and support your communities with our new SNAP resource page.
Dear MoveOn member,
Millions of families are struggling to put food on the table, and SNAP—our nation’s most effective anti-hunger program—is at risk because the Trump administration and USDA have failed to release full funding. And they're actively fighting to take it away from 42 million people still.1
The government is set to reopen, which should ensure that SNAP benefits are released to the people who rely on them. But the Trump administration’s cruelty in withholding these benefits means that many have had to go days without the benefits they qualify for, preventing people from buying groceries for their kids.2
It’s still uncertain when people will receive their SNAP benefits and how much of their benefits they’ll actually receive.
And we know this administration will skirt around the edges of the law to make our lives harder regardless of what the courts say. Our families deserve better.
Whether you want to donate to an organization supporting families directly, send a letter to your member of Congress, or start a food drive of your own, you can get support on our SNAP resource page.

The Trump administration’s cruelty must end. In the wealthiest country in the world, no one should starve.
That's why we created this quick resource where you can donate to an organization doing work to organize food assistance across states, find inspiration to create a food drive or join your local food pantry, and send a letter to Congress to keep raising the volume on how this cruelty from the Trump administration is impacting you and your loved ones.
Visit our SNAP resource page to learn how to support your community, push for full SNAP funding, and help hold Trump accountable for trying to deny it in the first place.
Thanks for all you do.
