Back in January it was hard to think this far ahead. After everything that happened that first month, it’s a safe bet that you were asking yourself how we were going to make it through four more years of this.

Now, here we are. It’s November, and Democrats just had one of the most successful off-year elections ever. It wasn’t easy, it was never guaranteed, but we made it this far taking everything one week at a time.

When you break it down, going one week at a time makes things feel a little bit more digestible. So, check this out:

155. That’s the number of weeks until the 2028 elections.

50. That’s the number of weeks until the 2026 elections.

$21. That’s the average donation to VoteVets this year.

$100,000. That’s what VoteVets needs to raise by our mid-quarter deadline on November 15th.

At $21, that means we’ll need to take in close to 4700 donations over the next four days.

So, we’re asking you to chip in that $21 today. Because by the time you’ve given your $21, somebody else has already added theirs. And if tons of people do the same, we can knock that goal out fast. That’s how we make it through this — one at a time.
