Attend a big game meeting this winter 

We want to hear from you! Get the latest updates on big game issues, interact with Nebraska Game and Parks staff, and get your questions answered at big game meetings this winter.

These 2.5-hour meetings are scheduled in each Game and Parks district throughout December and January. If you can't attend, online meetings via Zoom are also planned for Jan. 18 and 20.

Getting ready for firearm deer season

As you prepare to take to the field for the Nov. 15-23 firearm deer season, now is a great time to brush up on the basics.

Bags of processed venison for Hunters Helping the Hungry
Donate your harvest to a great cause

Do something amazing with your deer harvest this fall — donate it to a hungry family!

The Hunters Helping the Hungry program allows hunters to donate whole field-dressed deer at 10 processor locations in Nebraska — with no fee for the hunter. The ground venison is distributed to Nebraskans in need statewide.
