[1]Eugene Vindman for Congress
Friends, today the House will be voting on a budget deal to reopen the government.
I am voting NO on this budget. Hell no.
As an ethics attorney, former U.S. Army JAG, and fighter for the Seventh District, there is nothing more bothersome to me than seeing federal employees go weeks without pay. But this budget is an insult to the American people.
It does not address the health care affordability crisis, does not sufficiently protect federal workers, does not adequately support veterans affected by toxic burn pits, and does not stop the rampant chaos, cruelty, and unprecedented corruption from the rubber-stamp Republican party.
Under this deal, monthly health care premiums will more than double, and 22 million Americans will be forced to choose between astronomical health care costs or losing coverage.
Veterans who were exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances will be left without clarity or coverage because Republicans did not fully fund the PACT Act and will limit how many vets can receive this critical care.
Senate Republicans would be allowed to sue the federal government if their data is obtained without being notified. The American public does not get such special treatment, and Senators should not be an exception.
This is the budget that Republicans are passing — a budget that will hurt millions of Americans and the people of Virginia’s 7th district.
I ran for Congress to fight for the American people, not to let lawmakers walk all over them. So I am voting NO on this budget.
I’ll continue fighting for health care, for our veterans, and against the corruption of Trump’s administration in Congress. But I’m a top target for National Republicans, so I need you by my side to continue this fight in Washington.
If you are with me, can you please contribute to my campaign for Congress so I can continue fighting for you in Congress against corrupt MAGA Republicans?

Thank you for standing with me. I’ll never stop fighting for you.
