As part of our new mental health equity initiative, The Upright, AFSP recently held its [first Upright Summit]([link removed]). This virtual event brings together local and national experts who connect communities and drive change in the suicide prevention field. The Summit also spotlights community-based programs that show measurable impact in suicide prevention, an increase in help-seeking behaviors, and stigma reduction. 
 
We hope you join us for the second Summit gathering, taking place at 2 p.m. ET – 4:15 p.m. ET on Monday, November 17, 2025. In this upcoming session, you’ll learn more about the work of [Hope Center Harlem]([link removed]) and creating equitable access to resources.
