Can I be honest with you for a minute? Political burnout is real.

The constant bad news coming from this administration can be overwhelming, and sometimes it’s easy to feel discouraged or like you just need a break. I get it.

I’ll never expect you to chip in to every email I send you, but 2026 is fast approaching, and democracy is on the ballot. We’re also up against a tight fundraising deadline, so I had to reach out.

I know what you’re thinking — yes, another deadline. But amidst all the chaos in Washington, we have to focus on our wins.

Democrats swept in elections across the country.

In California, voters overwhelmingly approved a redistricting plan to counter Republican gerrymandering.

And in Wisconsin, voters have an opportunity to elect Democrats like Rebecca Cooke next year — who I’m proud to have recently endorsed — to Congress and help to flip the House blue.

I know it can be hard to stay motivated. But when we work together, we have the power to make a real difference in the fights ahead.
