Hey, John, it’s U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester here.
After hearing about what Democrats did in Mississippi on Election Day, I’m more excited than ever to support my friend, Scott Colom, in his campaign for U.S. Senate.
If he’s going to bring back common-sense leadership to Mississippi and unseat an out-of-touch politician who hides from her constituents, then he needs your help today. Will you chip in $7 or more before Scott’s mid-month fundraising deadline on Saturday to help his team fuel this campaign for working families? »
Let me tell you — I’ve been watching what’s happening in Mississippi, and I couldn’t be more inspired.
Last Tuesday, for the first time in more than a decade, Democrats in Mississippi broke the GOP supermajority and flipped two seats.
That’s no small feat, John, and I believe it’s telling of what’s to come.
Mississippi is shifting.
People who’ve been counted out, ignored, or written off are standing up for themselves and demanding more from their leaders, as they should!
And they’re right.
That’s why we have to harness this momentum through 2026 — to elect Scott Colom to the U.S. Senate and finally send Cindy Hyde-Smith packing.
Mississippi deserves leadership that doesn’t just show up for photo ops, but actually delivers for working families.
Scott Colom is that kind of leader. He’s grounded, principled, and deeply committed to fighting for opportunity — not just for some, but for everyone.
But building this movement and flipping this Senate seat is going to take all of us. National leaders are already declaring Mississippi’s race one to watch, and that attention matters — because it means the nation believes in what’s possible here.
So John, can I count on you to chip in $7 or whatever you can to Scott’s campaign before his mid-month deadline to help us turn this momentum into lasting change in Mississippi? »

This is Mississippi’s moment to make history, AND to move the state forward as a whole, and Scott Colom is the leader who will do just that.
