Michigan Democrats stood strong against Trump’s billionaire budget. Let’s make sure we have their backs.

Team,

Last week’s blue wave in the November 2025 elections proved voters across the country are ready to hold Republicans accountable for putting billionaires first and the rest of us last.

Political experts are predicting a blue wave headed straight for 2026, and Michigan is at the center of it with an open U.S. Senate seat and multiple competitive House races. Control of Congress could come down to what happens right here in Michigan.

And this week, Senators Gary Peters and Elissa Slotkin proved exactly why electing Michigan Democrats matters when they stood with the majority of Democrats and Democratic leadership by voting no on a budget deal that does nothing to lower the cost of health care for working families.

While Trump and Republicans tried to push through a sham funding deal, Michigan Democrats stood strong. Instead of protecting tax breaks for billionaires, Senators Peters and Slotkin voted no and said clearly: Michigan families come first. Period.

The Michigan Democratic Party stands fully behind Democrats who are fighting for Michiganders and refuse to cave to Trump’s pressure. That’s why we need to prepare right now to recruit, train, and help elect Michigan Democrats who will put Michiganders first, not billionaires.

Will you chip in $10 today to help fuel Michigan’s Blue Wave and defend Democrats who are standing up for working families? MAGA megadonors are already pouring millions into Michigan to flip the state red. We need your help to show them we aren’t backing down to their pressure.
