Last week, Americans spoke: They do not like Donald Trump’s policies that are skyrocketing prices and making health care less accessible. And they are fed up with the administration’s chaos, corruption, and incompetence.

Virginians and folks in states across the nation took to the polls to deliver Democrats big wins.

Here in the Commonwealth, we flipped the Governorship and expanded our razor-thin majority in the House of Delegates by 13 seats.

But these big losses mean Republicans are turning their attention to the midterms – and they will spend whatever it takes to hold onto power, no matter how unpopular their agenda is with voters.

And the President and his allies know as well as we do that there’s no Senate majority for Democrats without Virginia.

So we need to be ready for anything.
