🌟 Let’s Celebrate: NPH Annual Holiday Party!

It’s time to get into the holiday spirit and celebrate together! You’re invited to the NPH Annual Holiday Member Party, happening Thursday, December 4 (5:30-8:30PM PT) at Fluid510 in Oakland!

The NPH Holiday Member Party is open to members and those considering membership. It’s an opportunity to socialize, connect with the affordable housing community, and hear updates on strategy, policy, and programs for 2026. NPH members who are present will also be electing new NPH board candidates, re-electing board members who are up for their next term, and thanking our outgoing board members. 🪧 Tomorrow: Voter Engagement 101 Training

Now is the perfect time to start thinking about the voter engagement strategies we’ll utilize in our communities for next year’s elections! Join us virtually TOMORROW from 11:30AM-12:45PM for Resident Voter Engagement 101: Activating Voters in Your Community, a training that will cover the building blocks of nonpartisan voter outreach, why it matters for affordable housing communities, and successful models of civic engagement from around the region.

The Housing Leadership Council of San Mateo County recently shared their new report on Measure K's impact, and the results are powerful.

Since 2016, San Mateo County voters have invested in affordable housing through Measure K. With federal funding cuts looming and housing costs climbing, local investment through Measure K is more critical than ever.

Affirmed Housing invites you to celebrate the Groundbreaking of Arcade, their newest affordable housing community in San Jose, on Friday, November 14 at 11AM! Join federal and local officials as they break ground on this exciting new community.

Arcade will provide 191 affordable apartment homes for those who earn 30%-70% of the area median income.

 

🌟 Board Member Spotlight: Lillian Lew-Hailer

The NPH Board plays a vital role in helping move our collective work forward and deserves a moment in the spotlight! Join us in celebrating Lillian Lew-Hailer, Vice President of Operations for Mercy Housing, and At-Large Officer on the NPH Board!

Lilli joined Mercy Housing California in 2022. At Mercy Housing, Lilli fosters collaboration across the organization’s many departments and throughout the state to deliver better resident and staff experiences. Lilli previously served as Vice President of Housing Development at MidPen Housing, where she led new construction and renovation projects, developed building guidelines and real estate development standards, and championed sustainability and vendor diversity. She has devoted her career to increasing access, inclusion, and equity in our communities.

Lilli joined the NPH Board in 2024 and is a valued member of the Board. Thank you for your work as an NPH Board Member!

11/13 - Gen H: 2025 State of Housing Report - Join Generation Housing for the release of their 2025 State of Housing Report and the launch of their new Housing for Healthy Communities initiative. Since 2022, Generation Housing has produced an annual report that provides a comprehensive assessment of their community’s housing landscape.
