John,
After big wins in Virginia, New Jersey, and beyond last week, we took a
hard look at the data. Here’s what we know: we can flip seats in Texas
too.
Key districts across the state are tightening fast. Just a few thousand
votes separated Democrats and Republicans last cycle—and that’s exactly
where our work makes the biggest difference. When we organize early,
register new voters, hold community events, and knock on doors year-round,
we can close that gap and move seats from red to blue.
Here are just 5 of the tightest races from the last cycle:
📍Dallas–Fort Worth Area
* District 112: Angie Chen Button (R) 53.9% | Averie Bishop (D) 46.1%
📍San Antonio Area
* District 121: Marc LaHood (R) 52.5% | Laurel Jordan Swift (D) 47.5%
* District 118: John Lujan (R) 51.7% | Kristian Carranza (D) 48.3%
📍The Rio Grande Valley
* District 37: Janie Lopez (R) 55% | Jonathan Gracia (D) 45%
📍Corpus Christi
* District 34: Denise Villalobos (R) 55.4% | Solomon Ortiz (D) 44.6%
These districts and others like it aren’t out of reach—they’re within
striking distance. But to flip them, we have to organize earlier and
double down now, not in a year.
That’s where you come in. When you adopt a district, you’re joining the
fight right where it matters most. Your support helps us hire organizers,
host town halls, register voters, and train volunteers to reach people
where they are. This is the kind of grassroots infrastructure that flips
seats and builds lasting power in every community. And it’s the kind of
work that can’t wait.

districts? Your support helps us scale our organizing efforts so more
Texans are heard, more voters are engaged, and more seats flip from red to
blue.

We’re growing because the map demands it—and because Texans everywhere are
ready for something better.
