John, it's Hank Johnson.
Last month, President Trump pardoned Changpeng Zhao—the billionaire founder of a cryptocurrency exchange who had pled guilty to money-laundering a few years ago, and whose company just struck a business deal with Trump’s latest crypto venture.
But now, Trump's claiming he didn't even know who Mr. Zhao was when he pardoned him.
Now I know I'm one for guitar covers, but it's President Trump who's bastardizing Paul McCartney's song "I don't know." 🎸
And regardless of whether Trump knows him or not, it's clear that these pardons are a complete disregard for the rule of law.
He's using his political power to benefit his rich friends, while the government is shut down and working Americans are struggling to put food on the table.
John, the Supreme Court should be able to solve these problems, but the MAGA justices who have politicized the court are allowing it to play out.

We desperately need Supreme Court reform, and that's why I've created the Court Reform Task Force and continued to sponsor measures that will make our justices accountable to the people.

But without a Democratic majority in the House, these checks in our government continue to fail. Our next opportunity to flip the House majority is less than a year away, which is why we have to get to work now supporting Democrats for Congress and defending the seats we already hold, like mine. John, will you chip in today to help us work to flip the House in 2026?
