Dear John,
On behalf of the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) and the Protecting Immigrant Families (PIF) Coalition, we are pleased to inform you that PIF is moving to the next level of its organizational development by moving to a new fiscal sponsor, the New Venture Fund (NVF). The fiscal relationship between NILC and PIF will end on November 30, 2025.
Our fiscal sponsorship relationship has been immensely rewarding and fruitful. NILC is proud to have co-founded PIF alongside the Center for Law and Social Policy eight years ago and honored to have worked closely with PIF staff and coalition partners to address some of the most timely and critical issues facing immigrants in the United States. And PIF deeply appreciates the dedicated support NILC has provided to PIF’s program, systems and capacity, as well as to its organizational growth and development.
Given its evolution over the past few years and trajectory for growth over the next few years, PIF’s needs are becoming increasingly complex. Partnering with New Venture Fund, whose primary purpose is fiscal sponsorship, empowers both NILC and PIF to operate at their fullest organizational powers and bandwidth.
NILC will continue to serve on PIF’s Executive and Steering Committees and remain actively involved with PIF staff and coalition partners as a strategic thought partner, as NILC has done since PIF’s inception. We are looking forward to the next phase of PIF and our organizations’ partnership.
In community,
Adriana Cadena, Executive Director, PIF,
