John, Over the weekend, I received an email from Mark, an early voter in our district. He explained that he didn’t hear about our campaign until after he cast his vote for my opponent. Now that he knows about our People First campaign and our opponent’s awful record, he regrets his “colossal mistake” (his words). This is why we have to reach as many voters as possible now — people want a representative in Congress who will fight for them, not corporations. But they have to know about us first. The hard reality is that voter outreach takes money, and with the days winding down fast until our election, every second counts. Can you pitch in any amount to make sure no one else makes the colossal mistake Mark did?
If we’ve learned one thing this year, it’s that people want and need change. They are tired of a system that puts money into the pockets of the private healthcare industry while working families are crushed by medical debt. They are tired of a system that allows fossil fuel companies to destroy our planet with their greed. And they are tired of a system that allows our representatives to be bought by corporations while neglecting the needs of regular people. Together, Eva Putzova
PS: Mark’s wife, who’s holding onto her ballot for an additional day, learned about us and is planning to vote for our campaign. Talking to voters works! |
