* Members of Action Together Gloucester and Camden Counties went to Trenton to stand with Moms Demand Action last week ([link removed]) . Check the Events section below for more events with them.
* Red Bank is the newest town to pass an ordinance against single use plastic bags ([link removed]) ! Go to the Clean Ocean Action website ([link removed]) (scroll down a bit on the page) to see the full list of which towns and counties have already passed laws.
* After the task force uncovered all sorts of bad practices under the NJ corporate tax incentive programs (whether through fraud or incompetence - they're still investigating) Governor Murphy vetoed the bill that would extend the tax breaks for corporations. From ProPublica - “For the past six years, New Jersey has operated under a severely flawed tax incentive program that wasted taxpayer money on handouts to connected companies instead of creating jobs and economic growth,” ([link removed])
