Julie was all alone when her three flockmates died from predators and car accidents. Heartbroken, she followed her guardians in search of a friend—and though Julie was scheduled to be slaughtered, her affection inspired a change of heart that saved her life.
At Farm Sanctuary, Julie’s now excited to see us each day as we gently help her through anxiety. She’s close to Freyja (a fellow introvert) and Brunnhilde turkeys, too, and the trio spends peaceful days in the pasture.
