John, it's official…

I'm running to represent NY-12 in Congress! This is the district where I was born and raised, and the place that five generations of my family have called home.

Hi John, I'm Jack Schlossberg, and my grandfather, President Kennedy, is my hero.

In high school, I spent hours watching his speeches. He taught us all that politics isn't about serving yourself — it's about serving others. And that's exactly why I'm running for Congress.

This isn't going to be your average campaign — we’re at the forefront of a movement backed by real people who are ready for a new generation of leadership. I won't be bought or intimidated. Instead, I'll be relying on folks like you. So, if you're willing to be one of the first donors to my campaign, will you split a donation between myself and The Majority Rules right now? I've always been passionate about politics — you can probably gather as much if you've seen any of my social media posts :) I pride myself on my hot (correct!) takes.  But public service has always been my driving force. I come from a long legacy of public service, from my great-great-grandparents to my mother, Caroline Kennedy.

I have big shoes to fill. I've known it all my life. But this is even bigger than living up to my family name. This is about serving the people of New York — the city that shaped me into the person I am today.

Right now, our country is in crisis. Donald Trump and his buddies (my cousin RFK Jr. — to name just one) are tanking the economy, attacking free speech, and sowing distrust in decades of scientific research.

We need to revive empathy and effort. I want to be excited and feel hopeful about our future, and I want my fellow New Yorkers to feel the same way. I believe in a politics that works for the people it was intended to serve, and I'm ready to fight for it.

And John, I happen to think caring is cool.

None of this will be easy. But in the words of my grandfather, I'm doing this "Not because it is easy but because it is hard."

Together, we can build a new Congress and a New York City that works for everyone. Will you join our movement today by splitting a donation of any amount between my campaign and The Majority Rules? [link removed]

The Majority Rules is a coalition of concerned citizens like you, fighting to end partisan gerrymandering and ensure fair elections. We're focused on making sure everyone who's able to vote, can vote. We use your donations to promote state and federal candidates and initiatives across the US to achieve fair elections.

This year is going to be huge in the fight for fair elections! We have seen that voting rights and the integrity of our elections continue to be under attack. Some candidates and organizations have continued to use shady, undemocratic tactics to suppress voters. It's time to fight back!

Paid for by The Majority Rules PAC and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.
