John,
Ted just got off the debate stage (aka turned off his webcam from the Zoom call). If you missed the debate or had to hop off early, you can go back and watch the whole thing here. The County Commission portion starts around the 30-minute mark.
This was the one and only debate in this runoff election and Ted used it to hammer home his leadership experience and policymaking knowhow from the two terms he served as Mayor of Clarkston, one of the most diverse cities in America.
He highlighted the work he led on to make Clarkston a more welcoming, inclusive city with a thriving local economy and delivered real results for the community by decriminalizing marijuana, raising the minimum wage, outlawing LGBTQ+ discrimination, expanding police athletic league programs, making election day a holiday, and even approving the first tiny home neighborhood in Georgia.
Ted is a progressive leader focused on bringing people together to get things done. If you support his campaign to unite our communities and move DeKalb forward with new ideas and new energy, then he needs your support.
Sign up for a volunteer shift, become one of our community endorsers, or pitch in a grassroots donation.
Thank you for your continued support of our campaign to move DeKalb forward.
