The (Navajo Transitional Energy Company, LLC.) of (Gillette, Wyoming) has filed a mining permit Renewal- RN9 application with the Land Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the mining of coal in Sheridan County, Wyoming. The Youngs Creek Mine is approximately 15 miles North of Sheridan, Wyoming. The application may be viewed at the Cheyenne or the Sheridan District 3 Office of the Land Quality Division. The application will be readvertised for public comment prior to approval by the Department of Environmental Quality.
