Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) is based out of Brooklyn, where we’ve been workin’ for youse guys for over a decade now. We’ve worked for ya on a number of issues over the years, and today I’m highlighting one specifically: workin’ FOIAs.

Through our Freedom of Information Act work ([link removed]) , we shine a light on what those in power would rather keep hidden, from surveillance programs targeting journalists to secret government policies that threaten press freedom.

FPF has filed 260 FOIA requests this year to date, along with six lawsuits to force transparency where agencies have failed to respond. Each one represents a fight for accountability, a push to keep the truth from being buried.
