The American Federation of Government Employees announced its support of Congressman Bishop’s reelection campaign!

“Bishop has established himself as a consensus builder who works with members of both parties to achieve results. He helps ensure our federal employees have the resources they need to perform their jobs through his leadership role on the House Appropriations Committee,” said National Vice President David Mollett.

The AFGE is the largest federal employees’ union in the country, representing the labor rights of 700,000 Americans. Currently, the AFGE is advocating to restore wages to pre-2012 recession rates and is mounting a strong resistance to union-busting policies.

Congressman Bishop’s long record of voting in favor of workers’ rights and fair wages reflects his commitment and concern for all of Georgia’s working families. He wants to continue this crucial work, but he needs your help.
