Friend,

Had a busy weekend - after speaking at the Democratic National Committee's summer meeting in San Francisco on Friday, I ran in the Salem Old Settlers Parade and spoke to Iowa's 2nd Congressional District Democrats, as well as local Democratic Party groups in Calhoun County and Clay County. I was also profiled in the Washington Times, which wrote that I'm "Trying to make an impact in Iowa the old-fashioned way: by camping out in the state, giving interviews to anyone who asks and shaking as many hands as possible at parades, festivals and breakfast meetings" ( link [[link removed]] ).

This week will be full of events - indeed, the Des Moines Register says I'll be the only candidate in Iowa ( link [[link removed]] )!
