Hello John,
This Christmas, could you give a gift to the animals in our care? All have suffered so much. Each one was confined, exploited, abused, injured or orphaned. Now, your gift can help these traumatised individuals recover.
GIVE THE GIFT OF COMFORT & JOY ([link removed])
Rescued from tragic situations:
🔴 Kebri the lion was just weeks old when his mother was killed in Ethiopia. But we gave him a home, and you could help him overcome his trauma at our sanctuary.
🔴 Snatched from the wild, when we rescued Fasika she was sick, hungry and afraid. Now, at our sanctuary, you could help make it up to her.
🔴 Zeiss the leopard suffered at a terrible zoo, where animals were left to starve. Now safe at our sanctuary, your gift could aid his recovery.

How do you help such complex, intelligent animals to overcome all they’ve been through?
‘Environmental enrichment activities’ can help rescued animals like Kebri, Fasika and Zeiss recover from their distress, and stay active.
Your gift could aid their recovery:
🎁 Give Kebri enticing pungent herbs tied up in a sack to investigate, pounce on and roll around with.
🎁 Give Fasika tasty treats, wrapped in straw in a cardboard box tied up with raffia, to keep her busy.
🎁 Give a big cat like Zeiss a viewing platform to climb up and gaze across their landscape – they love this!

Your gift could encourage natural behaviours, and help a rescued animal recover and thrive.

At Born Free, understanding what works best for the rescued animals we help care for is crucial – from tigers to pangolins, bears and even hyenas. These creatures have endured too much, but you can turn their suffering into comfort — and their fear into joy.
This Christmas, show how much you care, with a gift that truly cares. What a beautiful and meaningful way to mark the season of giving!
Thank you.
