The Invercargill National Party Electorate is hosting Hon Todd McClay, our spokesperson for Agriculture and Trade & Investment, at our Otautau branch on Tuesday November 25 for a Public Meeting at 6.00pm and we would love to see you there.
Invercargill MP Penny Simmonds and Otautau National Party Branch Chair Bill O’Sullivan, will accompany Hon Todd McClay on the night, where food and refreshments will be served from 6pm, for a 7pm meeting start.
“It will be excellent to have Hon Todd McClay, our spokesperson for Agriculture, Forestry, Trade and Investment, and Associate Spokesperson of Foreign Affairs, in Otautau, where he can meet with local people and discuss rural issues,” Penny Simmonds says.
“Todd is working at the rockface of change for farming and rural communities, and this is the perfect chance for him to update us on the latest developments around farming, trade and investment, while we bring him up to speed on issues affecting Southland’s rural sector.
“There will also be an opportunity for questions, and I know that he will be keen to hear your insights.”
Branch chair Bill O’Sullivan said he was also looking forward to hosting this important event in Otautau.
“What a privilege it will be to host Hon Todd McClay to Western Southland for this Public Meeting. I encourage people to put it in their diaries and make sure they attend.
“This is great opportunity to meet face-to-face with Todd McLay and to be briefed on national and international issues affecting Southland.”
